March 2022 Message from the Trustees & Flyer

Dear all

March 2022 Message from the Trustees & Flyer

We hope that you are all well and looking forward to attending the Sporting Challenge activities in March, the details of the activities can be found in the attached Flyer.

With the government announcing its ‘Living with Covid’ plan on the 21st February many of the safeguards that we have lived are being relaxed and / or withdrawn, however we do need to remember that COVID is still with us in the community and some sensible precautions should still be applied.

The trustees continue to take a cautious approach and ask that you continue to wear a mask when travelling to and from Sporting Challenge activities in a car as this is an enclosed space, remembering that we do have members who are considered to be extremely vulnerable and we need to look out for their wellbeing / keep them safe.

Stay at home if you’re feeling unwell – Government guidance will remain in place for those who test positive to stay at home and avoid contact with others for at least five full days. Please respect this guidance so to project our members.

Please let us know that you are unable to attend an activity so to avoid the sessional staff calling to pick you up.

Finally, the charity’s advice to parents and carers is that the decision to allow members to attend Sporting Challenge activities is theirs alone.

A Reminder!

We will continue to invoice members and we encourage you to make your payments to Sporting Challenge using the Online Banking Services (BACS) and by doing so to avoid us having to accept cash payments at activities with this now being considered to be the way forward.

Many thanks,

The Sporting Challenge Committee.

26 Feb 2022.
